“I began attending classes at The Bar Method in January of 2012 with a fitness goal to get back into shape after having my second child.  After taking my first class, I was hooked.  Since then, I have lost 15 pounds and weigh less than my pre-pregnancy weight! I have also lost 17.5 inches across my body including 4 inches just in my lower abs, which is definitely an area that is challenging to get rid of after having children.

With working full time and having a 5-year-old and a 16-month-old at home, it is difficult to make time for working out, but I have committed to attending class at least 3 times per week and have consistently done that over the last year!  I love it when I get to attend even more often.  There has never been a workout that I have stuck to and have been continually motivated to attend, but the amazing instructors keep me coming back!  This has been the best get-back-in-shape after baby workout and I feel stronger than before I even got pregnant.  The Bar Method team has definitely challenged me to push myself while working out in ways that I know I would not have been able to accomplish on my own. It is amazing what The Bar Method has done for my body, but it has helped me in so many other ways.  It has been such a great way to de-stress after a long day at work, it has helped me to be a better and more patient mother to my two little girls, and has given me energy to keep up with them!
